Management-network reach gives AV:A, the timing-window race gives AC:H, authenticated management access gives PR:L, and only partial data leakage yields C:L with no I/A impact.

2DescriptionCVE.org
A race condition vulnerability exists in the request processing logic of the REST management interface on Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. When handling concurrent incoming network management FCIP requests, a timing window exists between when a request populates the address variable and when the service constructs and returns the response context. As a result, the first request adopts the modified context, causing the service to return sensitive management details or configuration data belonging to the second context back to the original requester.
AnalysisAI
Race-condition information disclosure in Brocade Fabric OS before 10.0.1 allows a low-privilege authenticated attacker on an adjacent/management network to obtain limited management or configuration data belonging to another concurrent FCIP request. The issue requires precise timing to win the narrow window between address-variable population and response construction, making exploitation non-deterministic and limited to partial data exposure; no public exploit identified at time of analysis. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires network access to the REST management interface of Brocade Fabric OS (an adjacent/management-network position per AV:A, not Internet-reachable), low-privilege authenticated access (PR:L), and the ability to generate concurrent FCIP management requests so that two requests overlap within the race window. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a low-priority issue, and the signals are internally consistent rather than conflicting. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Vendor-released patch: upgrade to Brocade Fabric OS 10.0.1 or later, which is the first version outside the affected range per the description; vendor advisory: https://support.broadcom.com/external/content/SecurityAdvisories/0/39159. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
