The technique list with ATT&CK links and the kill-chain view is part of the Basic plan and up.

Exploitation Conditions

Requires direct physical access to the Furbo 360 or Furbo Mini camera hardware and the ability to open the device and connect to its on-board UART (serial) debug interface. The primary limiting factor is the Physical attack vector (AV:P) - the attack cannot be performed remotely or over the network and demands hands-on possession of the device. Affected firmware is Furbo 360 up to FB0035_FW_036 and Furbo Mini up to MC0020_FW_074; no authentication is needed once physical UART access is obtained (PR:N), but no special software configuration is required, making the hardware interface itself the sole prerequisite.

Impact

This is a low-priority vulnerability by every available signal. The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:P/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L) scores just 2.4, driven down almost entirely by the Physical attack vector (AV:P) - an attacker must have hands-on possession of the device to connect to the UART interface. Impact is limited to low-confidentiality information disclosure (VC:L) with no integrity or availability impact. EPSS is 0.19% (8th percentile), consistent with the low practical exploitability of a physical-access-only flaw. The CVE is NOT in CISA KEV, so there is no evidence of active exploitation. The one elevating signal is that exploit code has been publicly released, but POC availability does not equal active exploitation and does little to raise real-world risk when physical access is the gating prerequisite. No SSVC decision data was provided in the input. All signals are internally consistent: a genuine but minor hardware-level information-disclosure issue in a consumer device, not an urgent remediation priority. Note the source is a single CNA (VulDB); the vendor did not respond to disclosure, so there is no independent vendor confirmation of affected versions or fix availability.

Exploit ScenarioDerived

An attacker with physical possession of a Furbo 360 or Furbo Mini camera opens the casing, locates the exposed UART debug header on the circuit board, and attaches a serial adapter to read data disclosed over the interface. Public exploit code for this technique has been released. Because the attack requires physically handling the device, exploitation is realistically limited to scenarios such as second-hand/resold units, supply-chain interception, or an attacker with temporary physical access.

AnalysisAIv1 – Oct 18, 2026

Physical access to the UART debug interface on Tomofun Furbo 360 (firmware up to FB0035_FW_036) and Furbo Mini (up to MC0020_FW_074) allows an attacker with hands-on possession of the device to disclose sensitive information from the camera. The flaw is a CWE-200 information exposure issue rated CVSS 2.4 (CVSS 4.0 AV:P), and publicly available exploit code exists; EPSS is 0.19% (8th percentile), consistent with a low-risk, physical-only attack. No authentication is required once UART access is obtained, but the attack cannot be performed remotely.

RemediationAI

No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis; Tomofun was contacted but did not respond, and no fixed firmware version is published. Because exploitation requires opening the device and attaching to the UART header, the primary mitigation is physical: restrict hands-on access to Furbo cameras, especially in offices, rental properties, and other semi-public spaces, and use tamper-evident seals or locked enclosures to detect or deter disassembly. Hardware-level hardening such as potting or epoxying the UART pads or removing the debug header can eliminate the exposure, but it is irreversible, may void warranties, and complicates future troubleshooting or forensic recovery. Network segmentation and account hardening do not address this physical vector and should not be presented as a fix. Technical ContextAI · show details

The affected component is the UART (universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter) serial debug interface exposed on the camera mainboard. CWE-200 (Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor) indicates that the firmware fails to protect data reachable through this hardware debug port, so an attacker who opens the enclosure and connects a serial adapter can read information that should not be exposed. The CPE entries identify the affected products as Furbo 360 dog camera firmware (cpe:2.3:o:furbo:furbo_360_dog_camera_firmware) and Furbo Mini firmware (cpe:2.3:o:furbo:furbo_mini_firmware), with affected builds through FB0035_FW_036 and MC0020_FW_074 respectively. The independent assessment's CVSS 3.1 vector AV:P/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N confirms the physical attack vector, no authentication requirement after physical access, and only low confidentiality impact with no integrity or availability effect; the CVSS 4.0 score of 2.4 reflects the same physical-only limitations.
