An out-of-bounds write in Apple's WebKit engine — reachable by processing maliciously crafted web content — can corrupt memory and potentially lead to arbitrary code execution on affected Apple platforms. The flaw stems from an integer-overflow class defect (CWE-190) where a size calculation overflows and the subsequent bounds check fails, allowing an OOB write. It is fixed in Safari 26.6.1, iOS/iPadOS 26.6.1, macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, tvOS 27, visionOS 27 and watchOS 27; exploitation requires the victim to load attacker-controlled web content (UI:R), and no public exploit or active exploitation has been identified at time of analysis, with EPSS at just 0.17% (6th percentile).
