AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
PR:L because a valid RDP authentication session is required; AV:N as exploitation occurs over the network during format negotiation; C/I:N as only the rdpsnd process crashes with no data exposure or modification.

3DescriptionCVE.org
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.28.0, an authenticated RDP client can advertise DVI ADPCM with nBlockAlign equal to 8 and nChannels equal to 2 to make the bs calculation in rdpsnd_server_select_format in channels/rdpsnd/server/rdpsnd_main.c equal zero. The subsequent out_frames modulo bs operation raises SIGFPE and terminates the server-side rdpsnd channel process. This vulnerability fixed in 3.28.0.
AnalysisAI
Server-side divide-by-zero in FreeRDP's rdpsnd audio channel allows any authenticated RDP client to crash the server-side audio process. By advertising a DVI ADPCM format with nBlockAlign=8 and nChannels=2, the client forces the bs block-size calculation to zero; the subsequent modulo operation raises SIGFPE and terminates the rdpsnd channel process. …
