AV:N and PR:N as payload storage is remote/unauthenticated, but AC:H because full impact depends on a POP chain in another installed component outside the attacker's control, and UI:R as an admin must open/save the row.

DescriptionCVE.org

The String locator WordPress plugin before 2.6.8 does not restrict the classes allowed when deserializing the content of a database row saved through its database editor, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store a serialized PHP object that is instantiated when an administrator later opens and saves that row. If a suitable POP chain is present via another installed String locator WordPress plugin before 2.6.8 or , this can lead to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data disclosure or remote code execution.

AnalysisAI

Unauthenticated PHP object injection in the String Locator WordPress plugin (versions before 2.6.8) lets an attacker store a crafted serialized PHP object in a database row via the plugin's database editor, with no authentication required (PR:N per the assessed vector). The payload only fires when a site administrator subsequently opens and saves that row in the editor, which is the UI:R precondition, and it escalates to remote code execution, arbitrary file deletion, or sensitive data disclosure only if a suitable POP gadget chain exists in another installed plugin or component, which is why our independent assessment rates attack complexity as High (AC:H) despite the raw CVSS 8.8 vector using AC:L. …
