Google Merchant Center Feed (gmfeed) module for PrestaShop is vulnerable to unauthenticated arbitrary file write in the feed.php endpoint. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted request that controls the output file name, path, extension, and content through request parameters. Due to the lack of authentication and input validation, the request is processed successfully, allowing an attacker to write and execute arbitrary PHP code, resulting in remote code execution (RCE).
This issue was fixed in version 2.3.9.

AnalysisAI
Unauthenticated arbitrary file write in the mypresta Google Merchant Center Feed (gmfeed) module for PrestaShop lets remote attackers control the output filename, path, extension, and content written by the feed.php endpoint, enabling them to drop a PHP file and execute it for remote code execution. The flaw carries a CVSS 4.0 base score of 9.3 (independent assessment: CVSS 3.1 9.3, AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H) reflecting no authentication, no user interaction, and full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires that the vulnerable gmfeed (Google Merchant Center Feed) module by mypresta be installed on a PrestaShop store and that its feed.php endpoint be reachable over the network. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine high-priority issue, not a high-CVSS-but-low-real-risk case. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade the mypresta Google Merchant Center Feed (gmfeed) module to version 2.3.9 or later, which is the vendor-released fix; verify the updated module files on disk and confirm the feed.php parameters no longer accept caller-controlled paths, extensions, or content. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours, identify all PrestaShop instances running the gmfeed module below version 2.3.9 and apply the vendor-released patch (version 2.3.9) if possible; if patching is not immediately feasible, disable the module or restrict access to the feed.php endpoint via web application firewall rules and monitor for suspicious file creation. …
