Write access to cluster required (PR:L); operator must actively open the CSV in a spreadsheet (UI:R); formula execution crosses into the spreadsheet application context, justifying S:C with C:H for data exfiltration and I:L for incidental formula side effects.

2DescriptionCVE.org
The MongoSQL Transition Readiness Tool writes database and collection names into its generated CSV reports without neutralizing leading characters that spreadsheet applications treat as formulas. A user with write privileges on the cluster can choose a namespace name that is later evaluated as a formula when an operator opens the generated report in a spreadsheet application, which may result in unintended disclosure of report contents or execution of external content on the operator's workstation. Generating a report for the affected namespace and opening it in a spreadsheet application is required.
AnalysisAI
CSV injection in the MongoDB MongoSQL Transition Readiness Tool allows a low-privileged cluster user to embed spreadsheet formula directives inside database or collection names, which are written unsanitized into generated CSV reports. When an operator opens the report in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc, the formula executes on the operator's workstation, potentially exfiltrating report contents to an attacker-controlled endpoint or triggering external content retrieval. …
