DescriptionCVE.org

Accessing the vNUMA configuration data of a guest is still possible when domain destruction has already started. The cleaning up of that configuration information is not synchronized with its retrieval by a device model controlling the guest.

AnalysisAI

Information disclosure in Xen's vNUMA configuration handling allows low-privileged authenticated attackers to read sensitive guest data during domain destruction. A race condition between the device model retrieving configuration and the simultaneous cleanup of that data permits unauthorized access to memory layout or other confidential information. No public exploit is identified, and the vulnerability is not known to be actively exploited at this time.
