DescriptionCVE.org
A race condition was addressed with improved state handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8. An app may be able to elevate privileges.
AnalysisAI
Local privilege escalation in macOS Sonoma 14.x before 14.8.8 and Sequoia 15.x before 15.7.8 allows a malicious app to gain elevated system privileges via a race condition. Apple has released patches, and no active exploitation or public proof-of-concept has been identified at this time.
