2DescriptionCVE.org
The All Bootstrap Blocks WordPress plugin through 1.3.31 does not validate a block attribute before using it to build a filesystem path that is included at render time, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to include arbitrary local files, disclose their contents, and execute PHP where a local file containing PHP code can be reached. Exploitation requires the plugin's Lightspeed subsystem to be enabled, which is not the default.
AnalysisAI
Local file inclusion that can escalate to PHP code execution affects the All Bootstrap Blocks WordPress plugin in versions up to and including 1.3.31, allowing an authenticated user with contributor-level access or higher to direct the plugin to include arbitrary local files at render time and read their contents. Code execution occurs only where an includable local file already contains PHP, and exploitation additionally requires the plugin's non-default Lightspeed subsystem to be explicitly enabled, so a stock installation is not exposed. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires an authenticated account with contributor-level capabilities or higher AND the plugin's Lightspeed subsystem must be explicitly enabled, which is NOT the default configuration. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine local file inclusion flaw that escalates to PHP code execution (effectively RCE) where an includable file contains PHP, so the C:H/I:H/A:H impact is credible. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch or fixed version is identified in the available data at time of analysis, so teams should confirm the current release status on the WPScan advisory (https://wpscan.com/vulnerability/55b1f0b1-dc15-45d4-beb2-4d1d7a9fe3dd/) and apply a patched build as soon as one is published; do not assume 1.3.31 is the last affected release without checking that advisory. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
