SiYuan versions before v3.8.2 contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the getAttributeViewKeysByID endpoint that allows publish readers to enumerate private attribute view key definitions without verifying parent database visibility. Attackers can access the endpoint to retrieve complete key schemas including sensitive field names and relation definitions from hidden databases.
AnalysisAI
SiYuan's getAttributeViewKeysByID endpoint, present in all versions before v3.8.2, allows authenticated publish readers to retrieve full key schemas-including sensitive field names and relation definitions-from private or hidden databases they have no visibility into. The flaw is an authorization bypass (CWE-639/IDOR) where the endpoint validates that a caller holds a publish-reader session but never verifies the caller's access rights against the parent database owning the requested attribute view. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires the attacker to hold a valid publish-reader session on the target SiYuan instance-an authenticated low-privilege account (PR:L per CVSS). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 score of 5.3 (Medium) reflects a limited-impact information disclosure with a low-privilege authentication prerequisite (PR:L), network attack vector, and no integrity or availability impact (VI:N/VA:N, SC:N/SI:N/SA:N). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade SiYuan to v3.8.2 or later, which resolves the missing authorization check in the `getAttributeViewKeysByID` endpoint, as confirmed by GitHub Security Advisory GHSA-j4qq-w6qx-6839. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
