Full takeover of Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT Runtime Server) is achievable by a low-privileged remote attacker over HTTP in Fusion Middleware versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Oracle rates this CVSS 9.9 because the flaw carries a scope change, so a successful attack can also significantly impact products beyond MFT itself. No public exploit has been identified at time of analysis; the fix ships in the Oracle July 2026 Critical Patch Update.

Executive ViewAI
Oracle Managed File Transfer Runtime Server (versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0) contains a critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.9) permitting full system takeover by low-privilege remote attackers over HTTP, with scope change extending impact to other Fusion Middleware components. Organizations running these versions face immediate risk of complete infrastructure compromise.
Within 24 hours, identify all Oracle Fusion Middleware instances running MFT Runtime Server versions 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 and implement network segmentation to restrict HTTP access to these servers. Within 7 days, apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update (July 2026) to all affected MFT Runtime Server installations and verify successful deployment. Within 30 days, conduct post-patch security testing to validate functionality and confirm remediation of the vulnerability.
Apply vendor patch.
