Vulnerability in the Oracle Managed File Transfer product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: MFT Runtime Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via T3, IIOP to compromise Oracle Managed File Transfer. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Managed File Transfer, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Managed File Transfer. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.9 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).

AnalysisAI

Full takeover of Oracle Managed File Transfer (Oracle Fusion Middleware, MFT Runtime Server) is possible when a low-privileged attacker with network access reaches the T3 or IIOP protocol interface. The flaw carries a CVSS 3.1 base score of 9.9 and, critically, involves a scope change (S:C) so successful attacks may significantly impact additional products beyond MFT itself. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires network reachability to the Oracle MFT Runtime Server's T3 or IIOP protocol listeners and a low level of existing privilege (CVSS PR:L) - it is not fully unauthenticated. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H) describes a low-friction, high-impact issue: network reachable, low complexity, only low privileges needed, no user interaction, and total confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact with a scope change. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply the fixes delivered in the Oracle Critical Patch Update of August 2026 (https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspuaug2026.html); patch available per vendor advisory, though the input does not specify an exact fixed build number, so obtain the precise patch for your 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 installation directly from the CPU matrix. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours: Identify all Oracle MFT Runtime Server instances in your environment and map their network exposure, specifically documenting any accessibility from non-production environments or external networks via T3 or IIOP protocols. …
