Local-only race (AV:L) requiring a narrow timing window (AC:H) and LACP-bonded config plus local access (PR:L); impact is limited info disclosure and minor instability (C:L/A:L), no integrity impact.
Primary rating from Vendor (Linux).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bonding: 3ad: implement proper RCU rules for port->aggregator
syzbot found a data-race in bond_3ad_get_active_agg_info / bond_3ad_state_machine_handler [1] which hints at lack of proper RCU implementation.
Add __rcu qualifier to port->aggregator, and add proper RCU API.

Concurrent access to an unprotected pointer in the Linux kernel's 802.3ad (LACP) bonding driver allows a local user to trigger a data race between the AD state-machine worker and the rtnetlink read path that fetches active aggregator info. Discovered by syzbot/KCSAN, the torn read of the port->aggregator pointer can disclose kernel memory state or destabilize the bonding driver on systems configured with LACP NIC teaming. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires the target host to be configured with 802.3ad / LACP bonding (bonding mode 4) - without an active bond aggregator the vulnerable `port->aggregator` write/read paths are not exercised. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | Signals are mixed and lean toward low real-world priority despite the 7.8 'high' CVSS. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | On a server using LACP (mode 4) bonding, a local user repeatedly queries the bond interface via rtnetlink (e.g., RTM_GETLINK / ip link) while the bonding state machine concurrently reselects the aggregator, racing to read a partially-updated `port->aggregator` pointer. Winning the timing window could yield inconsistent kernel-reported aggregator data or trigger driver instability. … |
| Remediation | Vendor-released patch: upgrade to a fixed stable kernel - 6.1.175, 6.6.141, 6.18.33, 7.0.10, or 7.1 (or later within each series), as published in the kernel.org stable commits listed in the references. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
