Network-reachable admin upload with low complexity gives AV:N/AC:L, but administrator privilege is required so PR:H; RCE runs in the app's own context so S:U with full C/I/A impact.

DescriptionCVE.org

xShop is an open-source shop developed in Laravel. An Unrestricted File Upload vulnerability in xShop version 3.0.3 allows an authenticated administrator to upload executable files (e.g., .php). By uploading a specially crafted php file, an attacker can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the server, leading to a full system compromise. Version 3.0.4 fixes the issue.

AnalysisAI

Remote code execution in xShop 3.0.3, an open-source Laravel e-commerce platform by 4xmen, arises from an unrestricted file-upload flaw in the admin attachment handler that accepts executable content such as .php files. An authenticated administrator can upload a crafted PHP payload and have the web server execute it, yielding full server compromise. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Requires authenticated access to the xShop admin panel with administrator privileges (CVSS PR:H) and network reachability of the admin attachment/'attaching' upload endpoint. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The supplied CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H, 9.1) reflects network-reachable, low-complexity exploitation with high technical impact, but the PR:H metric is the decisive limiter: exploitation requires an authenticated administrator, so this is a post-authentication privilege-to-RCE escalation rather than a pre-auth internet-wide threat. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Upgrade to xShop 3.0.4, which is the vendor-released patch (https://github.com/4xmen/xshop/releases/tag/v3.0.4); the fix is implemented in PR #64 (https://github.com/4xmen/xshop/pull/64, commit dd4a3add9d6f5b5f9dde9685e97f51057903a1db) and detailed in advisory GHSA-fc35-qjg3-f6g7. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, immediately audit all administrator account activity and review web server logs for suspicious .php file uploads to detect potential compromise; restrict file-upload functionality if operationally feasible. …
