2DescriptionNVD
A vulnerability in an internal service of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive configuration information from an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to missing authentication on the Policy Runtime Repository Table (PRRT) service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive configuration information from the affected device.
AnalysisAI
Missing authentication on the internal Policy Runtime Repository Table (PRRT) service in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and the Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive configuration information from an affected device. The flaw is an instance of CWE-306 (missing authentication for a critical function) and carries a CVSS 3.1 base score of 5.3 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N), reflecting confidentiality-only impact with no modification or denial-of-service effect. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires network reachability to the Policy Runtime Repository Table (PRRT) internal service on Cisco ISE or ISE-PIC (affected: ISE 3.4.0 through 3.4 Patch 6, ISE 3.5.0 through 3.5 Patch 3, and ISE-PIC 3.4.0/3.5.0). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a moderate-severity information-disclosure flaw, not a critical one, and the signals are internally consistent. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No exact fixed release is specified in the available input data, so administrators should consult the Cisco advisory at https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ise-multiauth-bypass-sgD2HbL4 for the vendor-designated fixed software and upgrade ISE and ISE-PIC accordingly, applying the corresponding 3.4 or 3.5 maintenance patch once identified; patch status is therefore best described as patch available per the vendor advisory rather than confirmed against a specific version in this dataset. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
