Network-reachable, no privileges or interaction needed, but immediate impact is only access to admin login page (C:L/I:L), not automatic full compromise.

1DescriptionCVE.org
When a particular authentication mode is configured, the reverse proxy forwards requests for a bundled third-party administrative interface directly to that interface without applying the gateway's own authentication requirement first. All access control for this administrative interface, which manages the credential store used to gate every other service in the deployment, is delegated entirely to that third-party interface's own login mechanism. Any authentication weakness in that bundled interface would compromise the credential store protecting the rest of the deployment.
AnalysisAI
Reverse proxy authentication passthrough in an ICS inventory-management component exposes the bundled credential-store administrative interface directly to the network when a specific authentication mode is configured. Under this mode, the gateway forwards requests to the credential store's admin UI without enforcing its own authentication, delegating all access control to that third-party interface's own login mechanism. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires that the deployment be configured in the specific authentication mode that causes the reverse proxy to forward requests to the bundled credential store admin interface without applying gateway-level authentication. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 score of 6.9 (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N) reflects that the bypass itself is straightforwardly network-reachable with no privilege prerequisite, but the immediate measured impact is low because the gateway bypass grants access only to the third-party admin interface's own login page - not automatic administrative control. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | The primary remediation is to apply any patch or configuration guidance issued under CISA advisory icsa-26-254-01, available at the CISA CSAF repository (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cisagov/CSAF/develop/csaf_files/OT/white/2026/icsa-26-254-01.json). … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
