2DescriptionCVE.org
AppFlowy-Cloud through 0.9.64 fails to validate workspace membership when establishing WebSocket connections in the establish_ws_connection_v2 handler, allowing authenticated users to bind sessions to workspaces they do not belong to. Attackers can send sync Manifest messages with victim object identifiers to read full document or database state from collaborations in other workspaces without victim involvement.
AnalysisAI
Cross-workspace data exfiltration in AppFlowy-Cloud through 0.9.64 allows authenticated users to read documents and databases from workspaces they are not members of. The establish_ws_connection_v2 WebSocket handler in src/api/ws.rs omits workspace membership validation, permitting any valid session to bind to arbitrary workspace contexts. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires a valid authenticated account on the target AppFlowy-Cloud instance (PR:L) - unauthenticated access is not possible. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 score of 6.0 with vector AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H accurately captures the key risk modifiers: the attack is network-reachable, requires an authenticated account (PR:L), and is constrained by the need to know or enumerate valid workspace and object identifiers (AC:H) in addition to a specific precondition of account existence on the same instance (AT:P). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No specific patched version is confirmed in the available data; the CVE identifies 0.9.64 as the last known vulnerable version without confirming a fixed release. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
