2DescriptionCVE.org
Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 4.5.3. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. While the vulnerability is in Helidon, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Helidon accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Helidon. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L).
AnalysisAI
Unauthenticated network exploitation of Oracle Helidon 4.5.3's Imperative Web Server component allows remote attackers to partially compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system, with a confirmed scope change meaning attacks can extend impact to additional co-located products or services. The vulnerability is rated 8.3 (High) under CVSS 3.1, elevated by the scope change despite individually low CIA impact ratings. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | No special conditions required for initial access - the CVSS vector AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N confirms remote unauthenticated exploitation over HTTP against Helidon 4.5.3 in default configurations. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 8.3 score reflects low-complexity, network-accessible, unauthenticated exploitation with scope change, but each individual impact dimension is rated Low (C:L/I:L/A:L). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | A remote unauthenticated attacker sends a specially crafted HTTP request to an internet- or network-exposed Helidon 4.5.3 Imperative Web Server instance. Exploitation results in partial unauthorized read and write access to Helidon-accessible data, a partial denial of service, and - due to the scope change - potential impact on adjacent services sharing the same infrastructure. … |
| Remediation | Apply Oracle's Critical Patch Update for August 2026, available via the Oracle advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspuaug2026.html. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
