DescriptionCVE.org

Vulnerability in the Oracle Reports Developer product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Security and Authentication). The supported version that is affected is 12.2.1.19.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Reports Developer. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Reports Developer, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Reports Developer accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Reports Developer accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.3 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N).

AnalysisAI

Unauthenticated remote compromise of Oracle Reports Developer 12.2.1.19.0 (Oracle Fusion Middleware, Security and Authentication component) allows a network attacker to reach protected data and cross a trust boundary into other products. An attacker with only HTTP access can read all data accessible to Oracle Reports Developer and make limited unauthorized modifications, and because the flaw is scope-changing it can significantly impact additional products beyond Reports Developer itself. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation No special conditions beyond network reachability - the CVSS vector AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N and Oracle's 'easily exploitable, unauthenticated' language indicate exploitation against a reachable Oracle Reports Developer 12.2.1.19.0 HTTP service requires no credentials, no user interaction, and no non-default configuration. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The signals point to a genuine high priority rather than an inflated CVSS number: the vector is AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N, meaning remote, low-complexity, unauthenticated, no user interaction, and Oracle itself describes it as 'easily exploitable,' which is the worst practical combination for an internet- or intranet-exposed reporting service. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Patch available per vendor advisory: apply the fixes from Oracle's August 2026 Critical Patch Update (https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspuaug2026.html); Oracle does not publish a discrete fixed build number in the alert text, so identify the correct patch for the 12.2.1.19.0 Fusion Middleware bundle within that CPU. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, identify all Oracle Reports Developer 12.2.1.19.0 instances in your infrastructure and restrict network access to these systems where operationally feasible. …
