5DescriptionCVE.org
Trigger.dev versions before 4.5.2 fail to validate environment membership during run replay operations, allowing authenticated attackers to inject task runs into arbitrary environments. Attackers can replay their own runs into other organizations' or projects' environments to consume victim resources and pollute run history.
AnalysisAI
Missing authorization on the run replay API endpoint in Trigger.dev before 4.5.2 allows authenticated attackers to inject task runs into environments belonging to other organizations or projects. By replaying their own historical runs into victim environments, attackers can consume victim compute resources and permanently pollute that organization's run history and audit logs. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires a valid authenticated account (any role) on the same Trigger.dev instance as the victim organization. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:H/SA:L, score 8.4) accurately reflects the threat model: network-accessible, low complexity, requires only a legitimate user account (PR:L), and produces high integrity impact on both the vulnerable system and subsequent tenant systems. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
