AnalysisAIv1 – Sep 15, 2026

A local privilege-escalation and data-tampering flaw in the CAX Client component of Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector 3.6 lets a low-privileged user who can already log on to the host running the connector create, modify, or delete critical PLM data, while also exposing a limited subset of that data to unauthorized reads. Because the vulnerability sits in the connector but the resulting actions reach other integrated products, Oracle assigns a scope change (S:C) and a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.3. There is no CISA KEV listing, no public exploit code, and no EPSS data in the supplied intelligence, so the issue is currently patch-driven rather than evidence of active exploitation.

DescriptionCVE.org

Vulnerability in the Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: CAX Client). The supported version that is affected is 3.6. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector executes to compromise Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.3 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:H/A:N).

What every action level means
Emergency Immediate action required. Criteria: CRITICAL + in CISA KEV (actively exploited) without patch, OR CRITICAL + EPSS > 30% without patch, OR CRITICAL + active threat signals without patch.
Act Now Prioritize within 24-48h. Criteria: in KEV with patch available, OR CRITICAL + public POC, OR HIGH + EPSS > 10%, OR CRITICAL + active threat, OR any CRITICAL severity.
This Week Schedule remediation this week. Criteria: HIGH severity (CVSS 7.0-8.9). Patch within normal change window.
This Month Plan within 30 days. Criteria: MEDIUM severity (CVSS 4.0-6.9), lower exploitation probability. Include in regular patch cycle.
Monitor Track and reassess. Criteria: LOW severity (CVSS 0.1-3.9), minimal exploitation risk. No immediate action needed.
