DescriptionCVE.org

Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 1.4.19. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).

AnalysisAI

Authentication bypass in Oracle Helidon 1.4.19 (Imperative Web Server component of Oracle Fusion Middleware) lets a remote, unauthenticated attacker reach and manipulate protected data over HTTP, yielding full read and write access to all data the Helidon instance can reach. Oracle rates it CVSS 9.1 with High confidentiality and integrity impact and no availability impact, and describes it as easily exploitable. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires network access to an HTTP endpoint served by the affected Oracle Helidon 1.4.19 Imperative Web Server component; no credentials, no user interaction, and no special client-side conditions are needed (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N), so any reachable instance running that version is exposed. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The signals align toward genuine priority: the CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N) describes network-reachable, low-complexity, unauthenticated exploitation with no user interaction, and Oracle explicitly calls it 'easily exploitable,' pairing High confidentiality and integrity impact for a 9.1 base score. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario An attacker who can reach the Helidon service over HTTP sends a crafted request that bypasses the intended authentication/authorization on the Imperative Web Server, gaining access to protected endpoints without credentials. From there they read sensitive data and create, modify, or delete records the instance can access. …
Remediation Apply the fix from Oracle's August 2026 Critical Patch Update as the primary remediation - patch available per vendor advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspuaug2026.html; the exact fixed build is not stated in the provided data and should be taken directly from that advisory. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, identify all systems running Oracle Helidon 1.4.19 and immediately restrict HTTP network access to trusted internal sources only; segment affected instances from external-facing networks and document current exposure. …
