DescriptionCVE.org

Netis NX10 firmware V4.0.1.5808 and V3.0.0.4142 contain an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the administrator password by sending a request to the sysinfo action in the web management interface without a valid session. Attackers can replay the exposed credential against the login handler to establish a fully authenticated administrator session on the device.

AnalysisAI

Unauthenticated credential disclosure in Netis NX10 routers (firmware V4.0.1.5808 and V3.0.0.4142) lets remote attackers retrieve the administrator password by sending a request to the 'sysinfo' action of the web management interface without any session. The exposed credential can then be replayed against the login handler to establish a fully authenticated administrator session, yielding complete device takeover. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation No special conditions beyond reachability - remote unauthenticated exploitation works against default configurations of the Netis NX10 web management interface; the attacker only needs network access to the HTTP management interface and issues a request to the 'sysinfo' action without a valid session. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment This is a genuine high-priority issue rather than an inflated CVSS score. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation No vendor-released fixed firmware version is identified in the available data, so apply compensating controls immediately. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, identify and inventory all Netis NX10 routers in your environment, focusing on firmware versions V4.0.1.5808 and V3.0.0.4142, and immediately restrict network access to their web management interfaces through firewall rules or network segmentation. …
