datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. Prior to 0.63.0, src/datamodel_code_generator/http.py get_body reuses Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers when following cross-origin redirects while fetching remote schemas, allowing credentials scoped to one schema host to be leaked to another redirect target. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.0.
AnalysisAI
Sensitive header disclosure in datamodel-code-generator allows Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers to be leaked to cross-origin redirect targets when fetching remote schemas. Affects versions prior to 0.63.0. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | The operator must specify authentication credentials via --http-headers or --url userinfo. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | CVSS 3.1 base score 3.7 (Low) with vector AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N indicates a low-risk vulnerability: network-based but requiring high attack complexity (a cross-origin redirect) and only compromising low confidentiality (credential leak). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | An operator uses datamodel-code-generator with --http-headers 'Authorization: Bearer <token>' to fetch a schema from a trusted API. That API (or an attacker who can control the schema's $ref) responds with a 302 redirect to an attacker-controlled server. … |
| Remediation | Upgrade to datamodel-code-generator version 0.63.0 or later, which drops Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers when following cross-origin redirects. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
