CVE-2026-73264 Aug 12, 14:30 HIGH PATCH This Week

Server-side request forgery in Prowler's Lighthouse AI provider configuration allows an authenticated high-privilege user to redirect outbound HTTP requests - including the configured API key in the Authorization header - to attacker-controlled or internal network endpoints. Affected are all Prowler deployments prior to version 5.33.1 where the Lighthouse feature and an openai_compatible provider type are in use. No public exploit has been identified at time of analysis, but the attack path is straightforward for any user holding Lighthouse configuration permissions, making API key theft and internal network probing realistic objectives.

CVE-2026-73263 Aug 12, 14:26 CRITICAL PATCH Act Now

Authenticated command injection in Prowler (Cloud/API) before 5.36.0 lets a low-privileged user with provider-management access run arbitrary shell commands on the shared backend worker. The Kubernetes provider's connection test accepted a kubeconfig containing a legacy GCP auth-provider with cmd-path/cmd-args, which the kubernetes-python client executed via subprocess when POST /api/v1/providers/{id}/connection loaded it. No public exploit is identified at time of analysis, but the flaw is fixed in 5.36.0 and carries a critical 9.9 CVSS.

CVE-2026-59151 Jul 10, 17:50 PyPI CRITICAL POC PATCH GHSA Act Now

Cross-tenant account takeover in Prowler (cloud security platform) before 5.30.3 lets an authenticated attacker who operates a controlled SAML IdP obtain a tenant-scoped JWT for a victim tenant. The ACS finish logic in api/src/backend/api/v1/views.py derived the destination tenant from the user-asserted email domain rather than binding token issuance to the validated SAML configuration, so an attacker completing a legitimate SAML flow for their own domain while asserting a victim-domain email address receives a SAMLToken and JWT for the wrong tenant. Rated CVSS 9.6 (scope-changing); no public exploit identified at time of analysis and it is not listed in CISA KEV.

CVE-2026-73262 Aug 12, 14:14 PyPI MEDIUM POC PATCH GHSA This Month

Stored cross-site scripting in Prowler's HTML report formatter (all versions prior to 5.37.0) allows any cloud principal with resource tag-write permissions to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript that executes when a security operator opens the generated report. The flaw resides in prowler/lib/outputs/html/html.py, where resource tags assembled via unroll_dict and parse_html_string were interpolated into HTML table cells without HTML entity escaping. No public exploit identified at time of analysis; a vendor-released patch is available in version 5.37.0.
