Unauthenticated network IDOR with trivial sequential enumeration (PR:N/AC:L); token and calendar disclosure justifies C:L over NVD's C:N; arbitrary booking deletion gives I:H/A:H.

The Bookly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 28.2 via the 'bookly_get_form_id', 'bookly_render_complete', 'bookly_add_to_calendar' and 'bookly_rollback_order' AJAX actions. This is due to the 'bookly_get_form_id' handler blindly storing the attacker-controlled 'order_id' from the submitted form_data into a new booking session, which the 'bookly_render_complete' handler then trusts to look up and return the corresponding Order's secret token without verifying that the current session created that order. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential order IDs, disclose other customers' order tokens, retrieve calendar/appointment information via 'bookly_add_to_calendar' and permanently delete arbitrary non-completed bookings via 'bookly_rollback_order', which cascade-deletes the customer_appointment and (when no other customers are attached) the underlying appointment.

AnalysisAI
Unauthenticated attackers can exploit an insecure direct object reference in the Bookly appointment-booking plugin for WordPress (all versions up to and including 28.2) to enumerate sequential order IDs and disclose other customers' secret order tokens, retrieve appointment and calendar details, and permanently delete non-completed bookings. The chain requires only a reachable public booking form and the plugin's standard AJAX endpoints; no authentication, user interaction, or non-default configuration is needed, which is why the assessed severity remains high (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:H) despite the confidentiality impact being narrower than full data compromise. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | No special conditions beyond a reachable Bookly booking form - remote unauthenticated exploitation against default configurations of the Bookly plugin (versions up to and including 28.2) for WordPress. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine high-priority issue, not merely an inflated CVSS score. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upstream fix is available (WordPress plugin Trac changeset 3707284, referenced at https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3707284%40bookly-responsive-appointment-booking-tool&new=3707284%40bookly-responsive-appointment-booking-tool); because a specific tagged patched release version is not independently confirmed in the supplied data, administrators should update Bookly to the newest release published after 28.2 and verify the changelog before assuming the issue is resolved. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours, inventory every WordPress instance running Bookly at version 28.2 or below, confirm which are internet-facing with an active booking form, and treat any confirmed exposure as compromised-adjacent: preserve web and database logs for later forensic review and begin notifying the site owner and legal/privacy stakeholders. …
