Unauthenticated remote endpoint (PR:N/AC:L) yields availability-dominant impact (A:H) with limited confidentiality/integrity (C:L/I:L) from metadata leak and route poisoning; PD-mode gating is a deployment precondition 3.1 base cannot express.

SGLang through 0.5.19 in prefill/decode disaggregation mode contains an unauthenticated PUT /route endpoint on the prefill bootstrap service that allows attackers to poison the KV transfer routing table. Attackers can supply arbitrary rank_ip and rank_port values to redirect decode workers to attacker-controlled endpoints, causing denial of service or disclosure of KV transfer metadata including session identifiers and tensor-parallel topology parameters.
AnalysisAI
Unauthenticated routing-table poisoning in SGLang through 0.5.19 lets any attacker who can reach the prefill bootstrap service in a prefill/decode (PD) disaggregation deployment issue a PUT /route request and rewrite the KV transfer routing table. By supplying arbitrary rank_ip and rank_port values, the attacker redirects decode workers to attacker-controlled endpoints, which yields a denial of service against the serving cluster and discloses KV transfer metadata such as session identifiers and tensor-parallel topology parameters. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires SGLang (through 0.5.19) to be running in prefill/decode (PD) disaggregation mode with the prefill bootstrap service network-reachable to the attacker - this is a non-default, multi-node serving topology, so single-node/default deployments are not affected. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine but conditionally-gated network-facing flaw. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch version has been identified at time of analysis; the only upstream artifact provided is the tracking issue at https://github.com/sgl-project/sglang/issues/39400, so confirm whether a fixed release has since been published before assuming exposure persists. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours, inventory all SGLang deployments and isolate any non-default multi-node prefill/decode disaggregation topology from untrusted networks; block or restrict access to the prefill bootstrap service and disable PD disaggregation if it is not business-critical, because SGLang through 0.5.19 is affected and no vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis. …
