Alert meAnalysisAIv1 – Sep 15, 2026
Low-privileged attackers holding a valid Oracle E-Business Suite account can take over the Oracle Purchasing module (versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15) by sending crafted HTTP requests to the application's web interface, with high impact to confidentiality, integrity and availability (CVSS 3.1 base 8.8, AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N). No user interaction or elevated privilege is needed beyond a basic authenticated session, making the flaw trivially automatable once credentials exist. At time of analysis there is no public exploit code identified and the issue is not listed in CISA KEV; no EPSS score was supplied in the source data. Oracle has published a Critical Security Patch Update advisory (September 2026) covering the affected releases.
