Vulnerability in the Oracle Forms product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Forms Services, C/S, Charmode). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.19.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Forms. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Forms accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Forms. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H).
AnalysisAI
Oracle Forms 12.2.1.19.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 contain an easily exploitable flaw in the Forms Services, C/S and Charmode components that lets a high-privileged attacker with network access over HTTP tamper with or destroy critical Forms data and repeatedly crash the service (complete denial of service). Oracle rated it 6.5 with integrity and availability impacts only, meaning confidentiality is untouched but data can be created, deleted or modified. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires high privileges in the Oracle Forms environment (CVSS PR:H) plus network reachability to the Forms Services HTTP endpoint, and it targets specifically the Forms Services, C/S, or Charmode component paths on Oracle Forms 12.2.1.19.0 or 14.1.2.0.0. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H) describes a low-complexity, network-reachable flaw with no user interaction but a hard requirement for high privileges - so this is an authenticated insider or compromised-account risk rather than an internet-facing pre-auth emergency. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update named in the vendor advisory https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspusep2026.html, which is the authoritative source for the exact patch set or bundle patch required for Oracle Forms 12.2.1.19.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 - the supplied data does not include an explicit fix build number, so do not assume a specific version without confirming against My Oracle Support. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
