DescriptionCVE.org

Vulnerability in the Oracle WebCenter Content product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Content Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle WebCenter Content. While the vulnerability is in Oracle WebCenter Content, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle WebCenter Content accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle WebCenter Content accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle WebCenter Content. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.2 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:H/A:L).

AnalysisAI

Oracle WebCenter Content's Content Server component, within the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack, exposes a network-reachable integrity compromise affecting versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. High-privileged authenticated attackers can access the service via HTTP to arbitrarily create, delete, or modify critical repository data, read a subset of accessible content, and cause partial denial of service - with a confirmed scope change indicating potential cascading impact on additional Oracle Fusion Middleware products. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires possession of a high-privilege Oracle WebCenter Content account (confirmed by CVSS PR:H) with network-level HTTP access to the Content Server component. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 3.1 base score of 8.2 is driven largely by the scope change (S:C) and high integrity impact (I:H), but the PR:H requirement meaningfully constrains real-world risk. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply Oracle's August 2026 Critical Patch Update (CPU), which addresses CVE-2026-60955 for both affected versions. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, identify all instances running Oracle WebCenter Content versions 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 and immediately restrict network access to affected Content Server components to only authorized high-privileged administrative users through firewall rules or network segmentation. …
