HTTP-reachable module needs a valid low-privilege session, so PR:L, and the AC:H and High-complexity condition reflects a state-dependent trigger with no confidentiality impact.

DescriptionNVD

Vulnerability in the Oracle HR Intelligence product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle HR Intelligence. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle HR Intelligence accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle HR Intelligence. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.8 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H).

AnalysisAI

Oracle HR Intelligence, a component of Oracle E-Business Suite (versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15), contains a difficult-to-exploit vulnerability in its Internal Operations component that lets a low-privileged, network-positioned attacker with an authenticated HTTP session tamper with or destroy critical HR data and repeatedly crash the service. Integrity and availability are both fully impacted while confidentiality is not, giving a CVSS 3.1 base score of 6.8 (AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires two concrete things: (1) a valid low-privileged, authenticated Oracle HR Intelligence session - the CVSS vector specifies PR:L, so some form of account is mandatory - and (2) network reachability to the E-Business Suite HTTP interface exposing the HR Intelligence Internal Operations component. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The signals here are mixed and should be read together rather than in isolation: CVSS gives 6.8 - medium severity - with a network attack vector but High complexity and Low privileges, while the impacts are severe (total integrity loss plus repeatable denial of service) and confidentiality is untouched. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply the Oracle Critical Security Patch Update referenced in the vendor advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspusep2026.html; that advisory is the authoritative source for the exact patch version, but no specific fix version number is present in the supplied data and should not be assumed - verify against the advisory before scheduling. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
