4DescriptionCVE.org
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the protection of Actuator endpoints. The application determines whether authentication is required by matching the incoming request path against protected Actuator paths. By sending a specially crafted request containing a percent-encoded path, a remote unauthenticated attacker can cause the security check to fail to recognize the request as targeting a protected endpoint.
As a result, the attacker may bypass authentication and access otherwise restricted Actuator endpoints. Successful exploitation may expose operational or configuration information and, depending on the enabled endpoints and application configuration, allow access to sensitive management functionality.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue.
AnalysisAI
Authentication bypass in Apache DolphinScheduler before 3.4.3 allows remote unauthenticated attackers to reach protected Spring Boot Actuator endpoints by sending requests whose paths contain percent-encoded characters, causing the application's path-based authorization check to fail to match the request against its protected Actuator path list. Successful exploitation exposes operational and configuration data (for example environment properties or configuration beans) and, where sensitive or write-capable Actuator endpoints are enabled, potentially management functionality; the assessed vector is AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N with high confidentiality and low integrity/availability impact, so no credentials or user interaction are required. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires a network-reachable Apache DolphinScheduler instance before 3.4.3 whose Spring Boot Actuator endpoints are protected by the application's path-based security check - the bypass targets that matcher via percent-encoded request paths and needs no authentication or user interaction. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | No CVSS score or vector is provided by NVD or Apache, so severity signals must be inferred from the description. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade to Apache DolphinScheduler 3.4.3 or later, which contains the vendor fix for the Actuator path-matching bypass; this is the only complete remediation and should be treated as the primary action for every instance reachable by untrusted networks. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
