The ManageWP Worker WordPress plugin before 4.9.37 does not bind the account being logged in to the signature which authorises the login, nor prevent an already used login link from being replayed, allowing attackers who obtain such a link to gain a session as any user on the site, including an administrator.
AnalysisAI
Remote administrative account takeover in the ManageWP Worker WordPress plugin (versions before 4.9.37) is possible because login links are neither bound to a specific user account nor invalidated after first use, enabling replay attacks. Any attacker who intercepts or obtains a ManageWP-generated login link - whether it has been previously used or not - can replay it to establish an authenticated session as any WordPress user on the target site, including administrators. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | The target WordPress site must have the ManageWP Worker plugin installed, activated, and connected to a ManageWP account, as the vulnerable login mechanism is only exercised when remote login is initiated through the ManageWP dashboard. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 3.1 score of 8.1 (AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H) reflects a high-severity vulnerability with full-triad impact but acknowledges that exploitation is not trivial: AC:H captures the prerequisite of intercepting or obtaining a valid login link. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Vendor-released patch: 4.9.37. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
