The technique list with ATT&CK links and the kill-chain view is part of the Basic plan and up.

Exploitation Conditions

Requires a valid authenticated CordysCRM account of any privilege level; the attacker does NOT need contract update permission. The specific precondition is reaching the POST /contract/sort endpoint (ContractController sortModule handler), which in versions before 1.9.2 ships with no @CsPermission annotation, so the server performs no authorization check before applying the dragNodeId/stage/field change. Limiting factors: exploitation is gated behind authentication (so exposure depends on who can obtain accounts, e.g. self-registration or shared tenancy), affects only versions prior to 1.9.2, and impact is confined to contract-record modification (integrity) - no data disclosure or service disruption.

Impact

This is a genuine but moderate-severity issue, best characterized as a Broken Function Level Authorization (BFLA) flaw rather than a critical breach. The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N) confirms network-reachable, low-complexity exploitation requiring only a low-privileged authenticated account, with impact limited to integrity of the vulnerable system (VI:L) and no confidentiality or availability impact (VC:N/VA:N). The signals are internally consistent: a publicly available POC exists (increasing practical exploitability), but the product is NOT in CISA KEV and no EPSS score was provided, so there is no evidence of active real-world exploitation - only demonstrated exploitability. The requirement for a valid authenticated session (PR:L) meaningfully caps risk: this is not an unauthenticated internet-facing RCE but a privilege-boundary violation usable by any logged-in tenant. The cross-organization impact (modifying contracts in other organizations) is the most serious aspect, representing a multi-tenant isolation failure. No conflicting signals were observed between the CVSS vector and the description. Note: EPSS data is absent, so widespread-exploitation probability cannot be quantified.

Exploit ScenarioDerived

A low-privileged authenticated user of a CordysCRM instance - lacking contract update permission - sends a crafted POST request to /contract/sort with a chosen dragNodeId, stage, and field. Because the handler lacks any permission annotation, the server applies the change, letting the attacker modify arbitrary contracts, including those belonging to other organizations/tenants. A public proof-of-concept (poc_contract_sort_write_bfla.py) demonstrating exactly this write is available on GitHub.

AnalysisAIv1 – Oct 11, 2026

Missing authorization in CordysCRM's ContractController sort handler (POST /contract/sort) lets any authenticated user - even one without contract update permission - modify contract records, including contracts belonging to other organizations, by supplying dragNodeId, stage, and field values. The flaw is CWE-862 and affects all versions before 1.9.2; publicly available exploit code exists, though there is no confirmation of active exploitation in CISA KEV. Impact is confined to contract-record integrity (no data disclosure or service disruption), making this a moderate-severity Broken Function Level Authorization issue rather than a critical breach.

RemediationAI

Upgrade to CordysCRM 1.9.2 or later, the vendor-released patch version; the fix is commit 98e2615569b402063bc02f369274a05f40217d6e, which adds the missing @CsPermission(CONTRACT_UPDATE) annotation to the POST /contract/sort handler and comparable annotations to the opportunity and order sort handlers, restoring function-level authorization. If immediate upgrade is not possible, compensate by blocking or restricting POST /contract/sort (and the opportunity/order sort endpoints) at a reverse proxy or WAF to trusted administrative roles or internal networks - the trade-off is that legitimate drag-and-drop sorting in the CRM UI will stop working until the patch is applied. Because exploitation only requires any authenticated account, also tighten account provisioning (disable self-registration, remove dormant or shared accounts in multi-tenant deployments) and audit contract records, especially cross-organization ownership and stage/field changes, for unauthorized modifications made while the endpoint was unpatched. Technical ContextAI · show details

This is a Broken Function Level Authorization (BFLA) flaw, CWE-862 (Missing Authorization), in the Java/Spring backend of 1Panel-dev's CordysCRM. In versions before 1.9.2, the sortModule handler mapped to POST /contract/sort in backend/crm/src/main/java/cn/cordys/crm/contract/controller/ContractController.java (roughly lines 279-283) carried no @CsPermission annotation, so the framework performed no function- or resource-level permission check before applying a dragNodeId/stage/field update to contract records. As a result, an authenticated principal of any privilege level can write to contracts across organization boundaries. The upstream fix (commit 98e2615569b402063bc02f369274a05f40217d6e) adds @CsPermission(value = PermissionConstants.CONTRACT_UPDATE, resourceId = "{#request.dragNodeId}", formType = FormKeyConstants.CONTRACT) to that handler, and also adds equivalent annotations to OpportunityController (OPPORTUNITY_MANAGEMENT_UPDATE) and OrderController (ORDER_UPDATE) - strong evidence the same missing-authorization pattern existed on the opportunity and order sort handlers. The affected component is identified by CPE cpe:2.3:a:1panel-dev:cordyscrm:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*.

DescriptionCVE.org

1Panel-dev CordysCRM before 1.9.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the ContractController sortModule handler for POST /contract/sort, which lacks any permission annotation. Authenticated users without contract update permission can supply a dragNodeId, stage and field values to modify any contract, including contracts in other organizations.
