AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L
Network-reachable and unauthenticated (PR:N), but AC:H because it depends on the non-default idp-tag metrics configuration; impact is availability-only and partial (A:L), no C/I.

4DescriptionCVE.org
A flaw was found in the Micrometer user-event metrics listener of Keycloak, a solution for integrated identity and access management. The issue occurs when the listener is configured to include the idp tag. An unauthenticated attacker can send requests to the identity broker login endpoint using arbitrary provider aliases, causing the system to create an unlimited number of metric time series. This can lead to excessive memory consumption and degrade the performance of both the server and its monitoring tools.
AnalysisAI
Keycloak's Micrometer user-event metrics listener can be forced to create unbounded metric time series by unauthenticated remote requests to the identity broker login endpoint with arbitrary provider aliases, leading to memory exhaustion and performance degradation. This is a low-priority issue because exploitation requires the non-default configuration of including the 'idp' tag in the listener, and the impact is limited to a gradual availability degradation (A:L). …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires that the Keycloak Micrometer user-event metrics listener is explicitly configured to include the 'idp' tag - this is a non-default observability configuration, and instances without it (or without user-event metrics enabled) are not exploitable. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuinely low-priority issue despite being remotely reachable. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch is referenced in the available data. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
