DescriptionCVE.org

In ConnectWise PSA versions older than 2026.1, Time Entry notes stored in the Time Entry Audit Trail may be rendered without applying output encoding to certain content. Under specific conditions, this may allow stored script code to execute in the context of a user’s browser when the affected content is displayed.

AnalysisAI

Stored cross-site scripting in ConnectWise PSA versions before 2026.1 allows authenticated users to inject malicious scripts into Time Entry notes that execute in other users' browsers when viewed in the audit trail. An attacker with legitimate access could leverage this to steal session tokens, perform unauthorized actions, or compromise other users within the PSA system. No patch is currently available.

Technical ContextAI

Classified as CWE-79 (Cross-site Scripting (XSS)). Affects Professional Service Automation. In ConnectWise PSA versions older than 2026.1, Time Entry notes stored in the Time Entry Audit Trail may be rendered without applying output encoding to certain content.
