The flaw is reachable remotely without authentication or user interaction (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N), and because scope is changed, exploitation can affect resources beyond the initially vulnerable component. Microsoft has released a fix; there is no public exploit identified at time of analysis and it is not listed in CISA KEV.
