| Exploitation Conditions | Exploitation requires a valid authenticated JeecgBoot account (CVSS PR:L), after which the DELETE /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord endpoint accepts an attacker-supplied arbitrary userId without verifying ownership, and the companion GET /airag/video/listByUser endpoint returns other users' record ids without access checks. The attack targets the AI video generation feature of the jeecg-boot-module-airag module and affects Redis-stored video history, so deployments must have this AiRAG video functionality in use. Limiting factors: the attacker must already hold valid credentials (no unauthenticated access), impact is restricted to deleting another user's video history records one record per request (no confidentiality or system availability impact), and no special non-default configuration is otherwise required. Versions through 3.9.5 are affected. |
| Impact | This is a genuine but low-to-moderate priority issue, not a critical emergency. The CVSS 4.0 base score of 5.3 (Medium) is consistent with the vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N - network-reachable, low attack complexity, but requiring low-privilege authentication (PR:L) and yielding only limited integrity impact (VI:L) with no confidentiality or availability loss. The real-world risk is bounded by the impact: an attacker can delete other users' AI video generation history records one at a time, which is a cross-tenant data-integrity/tampering problem (CWE-639 IDOR), not code execution, data theft, or service outage. Signals are mostly aligned rather than conflicting: public exploit code exists (POC by VulnCheck), which raises the practical likelihood of opportunistic abuse, but there is NO CISA KEV listing and NO EPSS score provided in the input, so there is no evidence of active or widespread exploitation. The combination of 'POC available + authentication required + low impact' points to a credible but limited threat suitable for routine patch prioritization rather than emergency remediation. Note one metadata inconsistency to verify: the input tags this as 'Authentication Bypass,' but the mechanism (CWE-639, PR:L) is an authorization/access-control failure requiring a valid authenticated session - it is not an authentication bypass. |
| Exploit ScenarioDerived | An authenticated low-privilege user of a JeecgBoot deployment calls the unchecked GET /airag/video/listByUser endpoint to enumerate other users' AI video record IDs, then sends DELETE /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord requests supplying a victim's arbitrary userId and record id to erase their Redis-stored video history, one record per request. A public Python proof-of-concept (published by VulnCheck via the github-poc reference) automates this, lowering the skill barrier; however, exploitation still requires a valid authenticated account and network access to the application. |

Alert meAnalysisAIv1 – Oct 10, 2026
Authenticated users can delete other users' AI video generation records in JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 by exploiting an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the DELETE /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord endpoint, which accepts arbitrary userId values without ownership checks. Attackers can first retrieve record IDs from the unchecked GET /airag/video/listByUser endpoint, then delete victims' Redis-stored video history entries one record per request. Publicly available exploit code exists (no CISA KEV confirmation), and exploitation requires a valid authenticated account; impact is limited to integrity of video history records with no confidentiality or availability impact.
RemediationAI
No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis. Until an official fix is available, apply a reverse-proxy or API-gateway rule that rejects DELETE requests to /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord when the supplied userId does not match the authenticated session's user ID; this preserves legitimate self-deletion but blocks cross-user deletion. Alternatively, disable the AI video generation feature (jeecg-boot-module-airag) by removing the module dependency or blocking all /airag/video/* endpoints, accepting the loss of video history functionality. Monitor the VulnCheck advisory at https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/jeecgboot-through-3.9.5-idor-via-deletevideorecord-userid-parameter and the JeecgBoot repository for updates past version 3.9.5. Require re-authentication or session binding for sensitive delete operations if the application supports it, but note that this does not fix the underlying IDOR. No other configuration-based workaround is known; deployment of the AiRAG video functionality is a prerequisite for exposure.

Technical ContextAI · show details
The JeecgBoot low-code platform's jeecg-boot-module-airag module contains a user-controlled key authorization flaw (CWE-639) in VideoGenerationController. The DELETE /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord handler trusts the userId parameter supplied by the caller instead of deriving it from the authenticated session, and the companion GET /airag/video/listByUser endpoint returns record identifiers without verifying ownership. Record data is stored in Redis as video history entries. The provided CVSS v4.0 vector (PR:L) and the independent CVSS 3.1 assessment (PR:L) both confirm that a valid authenticated account is required, and that impact is limited to low integrity (VI:L) with no confidentiality or availability loss. Affected CPE: cpe:2.3:a:jeecgboot:jeecgboot:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:* for all versions through 3.9.5. DescriptionCVE.org
JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to delete other users' AI video generation records by supplying arbitrary userId values to DELETE /airag/video/deleteVideoRecord. Attackers can obtain record ids from the unchecked GET /airag/video/listByUser endpoint and delete victims' Redis-stored video history entries one record per request.
