Network-accessible, no auth required; UUID prerequisite is low complexity; integrity and availability both low as victim's credentials are abused incurring cost.

Flowise before 3.1.4 fails to validate chatflow visibility in the unauthenticated text-to-speech endpoint, allowing attackers to abuse private chatflow TTS credentials. Unauthenticated attackers can generate unlimited text-to-speech audio using stored OpenAI or ElevenLabs API keys by providing a valid chatflow UUID, incurring costs on the chatflow owner's account.
AnalysisAI
Flowise before 3.1.4 exposes stored third-party API credentials (OpenAI, ElevenLabs) through a missing authorization check in the unauthenticated text-to-speech endpoint, enabling financial abuse at the chatflow owner's expense. The /api/v1/text-to-speech/generate endpoint is whitelisted from authentication and fetches any chatflow by UUID without verifying its isPublic status, allowing any network-reachable attacker with a valid chatflow UUID to generate unlimited TTS audio billed to the victim. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | The target Flowise instance must be running a version prior to 3.1.4 and must be network-accessible to the attacker. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 score of 6.3 (Medium) reflects network accessibility with no required privileges or user interaction, but the AT:P (Attack Requirements: Present) metric acknowledges that exploitation depends on the attacker possessing a valid chatflow UUID - a meaningful but not prohibitive prerequisite. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | An attacker obtains a valid Flowise chatflow UUID - for example, from a publicly shared chatflow link or by enumerating common UUID formats - and sends a crafted unauthenticated POST request to `/api/v1/text-to-speech/generate` with that UUID and arbitrary text input. Flowise retrieves the private chatflow, extracts the stored OpenAI or ElevenLabs credential, and fulfills the TTS request, billing the API usage to the chatflow owner. … |
| Remediation | Upgrade Flowise to version 3.1.4, which introduces a chatflow visibility check in the TTS controller. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
