4DescriptionCVE.org
Harness through 3.3.0 omits access control validation in the infrastructure provider read endpoint, allowing authenticated users to retrieve provider configurations from spaces they do not belong to. Attackers can query the GET /api/v1/infraproviders endpoint with arbitrary space identifiers to expose sensitive provider metadata including Docker endpoints, TLS certificate paths, and cloud project identifiers.
AnalysisAI
Authenticated users on Harness deployments through version 3.3.0 can read infrastructure provider configurations from spaces they do not belong to, because the GET /api/v1/infraproviders endpoint fails to validate space-level access control (CWE-862). Exploitation requires only a valid low-privilege account (CVSS v4.0 PR:L, and the independent assessment rates it PR:L as well), so it is realistic mainly on multi-tenant or multi-space instances where the attacker's account lives in a different space than the targeted provider records; a single-tenant instance with no untrusted users has limited exposure. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires a valid authenticated Harness account (any low-privilege user) on the target instance - PR:L, so not exploitable pre-authentication. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine but bounded confidentiality-only issue. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis: the available references point to the vulnerable source locations in tag v3.3.0, the project repository, the tracking issue (https://github.com/harness/harness/issues/3697), and the VulnCheck advisory (https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/harness-through-3.3.0-missing-access-control-via-infraproviders-endpoint), but none names a fixed release, so upgrading should be gated on a vendor-confirmed fixed version rather than an assumed one. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours, inventory all Harness deployments at version 3.3.0 or earlier, identify multi-tenant or multi-space instances, restrict network access to the Harness API, limit low-privilege accounts, and review logs for cross-space GET /api/v1/infraproviders calls. …
