Network-reachable, no privileges, no interaction; scope changes as server fetches internal hosts; confidentiality limited to meta tag leakage only.

Memos through 0.30.0 omits the 100.64.0.0/10 carrier-grade NAT address range from SSRF protection in its link-metadata fetcher, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass IP validation. Attackers can make the server request internal hosts in that range including cloud metadata services and read page titles and descriptions back.
AnalysisAI
Server-side request forgery in Memos through 0.30.0 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to make the application's link-metadata fetcher issue HTTP requests to hosts in the 100.64.0.0/10 carrier-grade NAT address space, a range the application's IP blocklist incorrectly omits. The server returns page titles and HTML meta descriptions from targeted internal hosts, enabling partial reconnaissance of CGNAT-addressed infrastructure. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires that the Memos instance's link-metadata fetcher is accessible to the attacker - either because the Memos deployment is internet-facing or because the attacker has network access to it. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 score of 6.9 reflects a moderate, narrowly scoped confidentiality impact: the attacker receives page titles and HTML meta descriptions from CGNAT-addressed hosts, not full HTTP response bodies, limiting intelligence value. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | The primary remediation is to upgrade Memos beyond version 0.30.0 once a patched release is published; monitor the upstream repository at https://github.com/usememos/memos and the GitHub issue https://github.com/usememos/memos/issues/6099 for patch availability. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
