DescriptionCVE.org

Flowise versions before 3.1.3 contain an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/organization/customer-default-source endpoint that allows authenticated attackers to access other customers' payment and profile data by manipulating the customerId parameter. Attackers can enumerate predictable customer IDs to retrieve sensitive information including email addresses, account balances, currency types, and billing configurations without authorization checks.

AnalysisAI

Flowise's cloud billing API exposes a broken access control flaw at the GET /api/v1/organization/customer-default-source endpoint, enabling any authenticated user to retrieve payment and profile data belonging to arbitrary other customers by manipulating the customerId query parameter. Versions up to and including 3.1.2 are affected; the server authenticates the session but performs no ownership check on the requested customer object, returning full Stripe customer records - including email, balance, currency, and invoice metadata - for any valid customerId supplied. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires possession of a valid authenticated session token on the target Flowise platform instance - unauthenticated access to this endpoint is not possible based on the CVSS PR:L vector. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N) reflects a network-exploitable, low-privilege flaw with high confidentiality impact on the vulnerable system and no integrity or availability effect. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario An authenticated Flowise cloud user intercepts their own legitimate request to the billing endpoint using a proxy tool such as Burp Suite, then replaces the customerId query parameter with Stripe-formatted IDs belonging to other registered customers (cus_XXXX) and replays the request using their own valid session cookie. The server returns a 200 OK with the full Stripe customer object for each valid ID - including email address, account balance, currency, and invoice settings - allowing the attacker to harvest PII and billing data at scale through enumeration. …
Remediation The primary remediation is to upgrade Flowise to version 3.1.3 or later, which introduces proper object-level authorization on the GET /api/v1/organization/customer-default-source endpoint as implemented in pull request #6321 and commit 4d7899d02ca370a5510406be5c91483085a412f9. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.
