DescriptionCVE.org

A weakness has been identified in GL.iNet A1300, AX1800, AXT1800, BE1400, BE3600, BE6500, BE9300, BE10000, E5800, MT2500, MT3000, MT3600BE, MT5000, MT6000, X2000, X3000 and XE3000 up to 4.8.x. This affects an unknown part of the component Wi-Fi Timer Power-Schedule Feature. Executing a manipulation of the argument switch_power/restore_power can lead to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The vendor explains: "After our investigation, we have confirmed that the vulnerability described (...) does indeed exist."

AnalysisAI

OS command injection in GL.iNet routers running firmware up to 4.8.x allows an authenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands via the Wi-Fi Timer Power-Schedule feature by manipulating the switch_power or restore_power arguments. The vendor has independently confirmed the vulnerability exists. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires an authenticated session on the GL.iNet router administration interface with at least low-privilege credentials (PR:L per CVSS 4.0). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N) indicates network-reachable exploitation with low complexity and no attack prerequisites beyond a low-privilege authenticated session. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation No vendor-released patched firmware version has been identified at time of analysis. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
