| Exploitation Conditions | Requires a valid authenticated JeecgBoot account (PR:L) and knowledge or enumeration of another user's id value, which is supplied directly in the userId parameter of GET /airag/voice/listByUser; the AI voice (airag/voice) module must be present and in use so that voice-generation history is stored in Redis. No user interaction or elevated privileges are needed, and exploitation works over the network against default configurations once authenticated. The practical limiters are the authentication requirement and the need to know/guess valid victim user ids; impact is confined to reading voice-history data (TTS text, voice settings, timestamps, audio file names/paths) with no write or service-disruption capability. |
| Impact | This is a moderate, confidentiality-only access-control flaw, not a top-tier priority. The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N) and CWE-639 agree with the description: an already-authenticated low-privilege user can read other users' data over the network with low complexity and no user interaction, and the impact is limited to low confidentiality (VC:L) with no integrity or availability effect. The 5.3 score is consistent with this scope. Publicly available exploit code exists (a Python POC on GitHub and a VulnCheck advisory), which raises practical exploitability, but the vulnerability is NOT in CISA KEV and no EPSS score was provided, so there is no evidence of active or widespread exploitation - treat the POC as proof of feasibility, not of in-the-wild attacks. The meaningful limiter is the PR:L requirement: an attacker must already hold a valid low-privilege account and must know or enumerate a victim's user id, which caps this as an insider/post-authentication data-exposure issue rather than a pre-auth breach. Note the input tag 'Authentication Bypass' conflicts with the actual nature of the flaw, which is an authorization/IDOR issue requiring authentication (PR:L) - this is a labeling discrepancy, not an authentication bypass. |
| Exploit ScenarioDerived | A logged-in JeecgBoot user (e.g., a low-privilege tenant on a shared deployment) requests GET /airag/voice/listByUser with another user's id in the userId parameter and receives that user's text-to-speech inputs, voice settings, timestamps, and generated audio file paths from Redis. A public Python POC (poc_airag_voice_history_read.py) automates this request. Because the vector is network-based, low-complexity, and needs no victim interaction, enumerating or guessing sequential user ids lets one account harvest many users' voice history. |

Alert meAnalysisAIv1 – Oct 10, 2026
Authenticated users of JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 can read other users' AI voice-generation history by supplying an arbitrary victim identifier in the userId parameter of GET /airag/voice/listByUser, an insecure direct object reference (CWE-639) in the airag voice controller where the endpoint trusts the client-supplied id instead of the session identity. Requirement to exploit is a valid low-privilege account (CVSS vector PR:L) plus knowledge or enumeration of another user's id, after which an attacker can retrieve submitted text-to-speech input, voice settings, timestamps, and generated audio file names and paths stored in Redis; no user interaction or elevated privilege is needed and the AI voice module must be present and in use. Impact is confidentiality-only with no write or availability effect, and publicly available exploit code exists (no confirmation of active exploitation and no KEV listing).
RemediationAI
No vendor-released patch is identified in the available intelligence; the flaw is reported as present through JeecgBoot 3.9.5, so the primary action is to track the project's releases and upgrade to the first version published after 3.9.5 that the vendor confirms addresses this endpoint, or apply an upstream fix/commit if one is published (exact fix version not independently confirmed). If upgrading is not immediately possible, apply compensating controls at the code and perimeter layers: modify VoiceController so the userId is derived from the authenticated principal (or add an explicit ownership check that rejects requests where userId does not match the caller and the caller lacks an admin role) - this preserves the legitimate 'list my voice history' feature and is the only control that removes the flaw rather than hiding it; alternatively restrict GET /airag/voice/listByUser at the reverse proxy/API gateway to trusted administrative roles or known IP ranges, accepting that ordinary users lose access to their own voice history; or disable the airag voice module entirely, which eliminates exposure but removes all AI voice generation functionality. Also monitor and rate-limit calls to /airag/voice/listByUser with sequential or non-self userId values to detect enumeration, and review Redis-stored voice-history records for data that may already have been disclosed. The public proof-of-concept at https://github.com/AnkesKasty/cve-request-poc/blob/a7b6d1423555812d8efa26c91c5d0683164b31e5/JeecgBoot/poc_airag_voice_history_read.py can be used to verify whether a given deployment is affected before and after remediation.

Technical ContextAI · show details
JeecgBoot is a Spring Boot-based low-code development platform whose optional airag module provides AI/voice features. The affected handler, VoiceController.java (lines 74-81, per the linked GitHub source), resolves voice-generation history from a caller-controlled userId query parameter on GET /airag/voice/listByUser and returns records stored in Redis; because authorization is never bound to the authenticated principal, this is the classic CWE-639 'Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key' class also known as IDOR. The CPE cpe:2.3:a:jeecgboot:jeecgboot:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:* uses a version wildcard, and the VulnCheck advisory scopes the flaw to releases through 3.9.5, meaning the airag voice module must be deployed and populated with voice-history data for exploitation to yield anything. The disclosed CVSS:4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N) is consistent with our independent CVSS:3.1 assessment (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N, 5.3-class): a network-reachable, low-complexity, low-privilege read of confidential records, with only secondary/tag-level association to 'Authentication Bypass' - the flaw does not bypass authentication, it bypasses object-level authorization after authentication.

DescriptionCVE.org
JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to read other users' AI voice generation history via the userId parameter of GET /airag/voice/listByUser. Attackers who know another user's id can retrieve submitted text-to-speech input, voice settings, timestamps, and generated audio file names and paths stored in Redis.
