Registration Form For Woocommerce
Monthly
Privilege escalation in the Registration Form for WooCommerce WordPress plugin (versions before 1.1.3) allows any authenticated Contributor-level user to register new WordPress accounts with arbitrary roles, including Administrator. The plugin fails to verify that the form ID supplied during registration belongs to a legitimate registration form, instead blindly reading the permitted-role allow-list from any post the attacker controls. Exploitation results in full site takeover. A publicly available proof-of-concept exists. This vulnerability is an incomplete fix of a prior privilege escalation issue tracked as CVE-2026-54807.
Unauthenticated privilege escalation in the ThemeGrill Registration Form for WooCommerce WordPress plugin (versions <= 1.0.9) allows remote attackers to elevate privileges without credentials, potentially gaining administrative control over the WordPress site. With a CVSS of 9.8 and no public exploit identified at time of analysis, the flaw is reported by Patchstack and tagged as a Privilege Escalation issue in the WordPress plugin ecosystem.
