Local file disclosure in the Ray Dashboard (default TCP port 8265) of the Ray distributed-computing framework affects all releases prior to 2.8.1, where the static file handler fails to sanitize user-supplied paths. Remote attackers can submit directory-traversal sequences to read arbitrary files outside the intended static directory, exposing source code, configuration, and credentials.
