CVE-2026-77693 HIGH POC PATCH This Week

Arbitrary file deletion in the Order Tip for WooCommerce WordPress plugin (versions before 1.6.0) allows authenticated Shop Managers to delete any file on the web server by exploiting missing capability checks and absent path restrictions on the deletion endpoint. The plugin fails to validate both the requesting user's permissions and the target file path, meaning a malicious or compromised Shop Manager account could remove critical WordPress files such as wp-config.php, leading to full site compromise. A publicly available proof-of-concept exists per WPScan; however, EPSS sits at only 0.17% (6th percentile) and CISA has not added this to KEV, consistent with the SSVC assessment of no observed exploitation.
